Collect magical fabrics and make friends along the way. New Friends can bring you to new heights. 

How to Play?

Collect fabrics as you fall down. Traverse around the space through each fabric. Each fabric leads you in a new direction. Collect as many fabrics as you can. Once you've collected your fabrics use it to feed into a magic sewing machine. What will it create? 

Controls:

[space] - Press space at either end of fabric strip to travel along it 

Background

This game is our submission to the Unidos Game Jam 2025!

We interpreted the theme of "roots" as the generational connections that bind us to those who came before, particularly through the lens of migration stories. My parents immigrated from Mexico, a journey shared by countless other Latine individuals who've had to leave their homes behind. Through The Fall Collection we wanted to show how these connections endure even across distance: our roots are the people we carry with us, and each generation sacrifices and strives to create better possibilities for the next. Sometimes staying connected means letting go and pushing forward even as you move away. It's a bittersweet narrative about the tension between leaving your family and homeland behind, and reaching toward new opportunities. The distance is painful, but the love that propels it forward remains.
